Joe Bueche came as close as anyone to Jon Dunn in 2015 and finally made his push in 2016 to grab the cup. Joe was slightly behind going into the final round and even fell further behind by the turn. It was at this point that he turned on the machine and started tearing up the back nine, finally taking the lead with 3 holes to go and never looked back. Joe has one of the more consistent games at the BDHF and is always in competition for the championship.
The Flask winner of this years event was Dave Flink who made a miraculous turnaround on day 3 to turn in one of the best scores GROSS of the group. Dave struggled early in the tourney posting some large numbers at both Bay Harbor and Little Traverse bay, but was able to make a late charge and posting the ONLY NET score under par.
