The BDHF in 2015 moved to a handicapped scoring matrix and created the opportunity for the NET low player a chance to win something… THE FLASK! Originally the flask was intended to be kept by the winner of the outing along with holding on to the official BDHF CUP, however it was determined that it might be more interesting if the holder of the flask also returned it to the following years NET champion. HOWEVER, the holder of the flask was to modify the flask through use of stickers, engravings etc, and fill the flask with their choice of liquor.
2015 brought another great year to the BDHF and with it quite a few more players. The roster for 2015 extended to 18 total players, up from 11 the previous year. At this point a few players only came up for one or two of the three rounds so we could shuffle full foursomes out on the course… This also the first year the BDHF committee attempted to put together more of a team AND individual contest. Difficulty in managing this along with the inconsistencies with players swapping in and out for different days meant this would be the last year a TEAM event was added to the contest.
