BDHF 2017

BDHF 2017 Dates and Specifics:

Dates:  June 22nd 2017 – June 25th 2017
Lodging:  714 Aronimink Dr.  Harbor Springs, MI

Courses:

• The Moor – Boyne Highlands Resort
• Arthur Hills – Boyne Highlands Resort
• Donald Ross Memorial – Boyne Highlands Resort

The BDHF 2017 kicked off on the Moor course as a rain storm rolled in.  Most of the teams made it to the back nine before a monsoon of torrential rain caused an early end to round 1.   Turns out the rain came through and brought two beautiful days of weather for day 2 and 3…

By the time we finished the last round a new champion was crowned as Shawn Williams ran away with the victory down the stretch.  Arthur Hills and Ross Memorial were formidable foes and some of us went down swinging but as a whole the event was fantastic.  With round one being rained out the 1/2 barrel of Coors Lite was no match for the thirsty throng of golfers at this years BDHF.

Dan Stegink and John Duba Jr were again rocking out some great morning eats.  I think we have found a fabulous combo to start out our days at the BDHF.  So much thanks has to go out to these two going forward.
