Lodging

The BDHF has been fortunate to call the same place home for the last 4 years and can thank BDHF member Pat Haas for that opportunity.   It is a beautiful home on the picturesque Donald Ross #9 tee.  Plenty of room to comfortably sleep all patrons,  a grand kitchen for BDHF Chef John Duba Jr to whip up his fabulous camp breakfasts and an ample living space for collecting scores and telling golf stories.

Sleeping Quarters

The sleeping quarters for the BDHF are split into a number of options based on a first come first serve basis.  There are a number of bunk beds in the upstairs along with two rooms containing queen sized beds.  (One room upstairs is reserved for the WINNER of the previous BDHF Trophy).  A basement provided another room with multiple twin beds and the “JP” couch. (JP apparently stakes this couch every year… so its just named as such).

Rules

This home has been offered to us for rent by a current BDHF member. It is important that you RESPECT the property, the golf courses and the grounds. The following are NOT suggestions.

  • No SMOKING in the home itself (includes garage).
  • All cigarette butts or disposed cigars must be discarded properly
  • Keep noise level to an appropriate volume after 10pm
  • No use of golf equipment on the grounds
  • No cars parked on the grass
  • Clean up after yourself
  • No cans or empty cups to be left on the grounds
It is important that we be afforded the opportunity to retain this as a housing option going forward, and to this point we have been very well received by ownership. The more individuals that can help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home during this outing, the easier it will be come move out day.
